Thailand has two English language National Newspapers, The Bangkok Post and The Nation. Unfortunately, both of these newspapers are centered on Bangkok with only limited news on Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai has its own English language newspaper The Chiang Mai Mail which is a weekly publication and gives fairly good coverage of Chiang Mai news and details of local events
